In a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) contract the seller assumes the cost of the carriage of the goods to the point of delivery in the destination country. To DDP the destination, the vendor must pay the seller for the goods, transport the shipment partway (FOB), insure it, and pay all tariffs, taxes, and other charges of the destination country. The vendor must fulfill all customs obligations prior the grade. All formalities at the customs level are done. Looking at a Purchase Order (PR) this way, a buyer doesn't deal with the aspects of international shipment, customs clearance, and borderline control becomes so hassle-free at the end.
